We’re proud to showcase another solar project by K2 Power Solutions! This 40.25 kW ground-mounted solar array is designed to provide 100% energy offset from the array while producing an estimated 54.8 MWh annually. 🌱⚡

🔹 70 VSUN 575W solar modules
🔹 1 SMA 33 kW inverter
🔹 Sinclair ground-mounted racking system
🔹 100% energy offset

And the environmental impact adds up! This array is equivalent to:

🌎 48.3 metric tons of CO₂ avoided
🚗 122,997 miles driven by a gasoline-powered vehicle
⛏️ 53,652 pounds of coal burned
♻️ 17.1 tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled
🌳 48.4 acres of forest in one year
📱 2,976,569 smartphones charged

☀️ IBEW Local 153 Solar Carport — Under Construction!
Big things are taking shape!
This 176.64 kW solar array will feature 276 Heliene 640W modules, 4 SolarEdge 40kW inverters with optimizers, and a Sinclair Carport racking system.
Once complete, the array is expected to produce 233.4 MWh annually and provide over 90% energy offset.
🌎 The impact will be significant:
♻️ 206 metric tons of CO₂ avoided
🚗 523,861 miles of gasoline driving offset
🪨 228,509 lbs. of coal avoided
🌱 72.7 tons of waste diverted from landfills
🌳 Equivalent to 206 acres of forest in one year

K2 Power Solutions was honored to serve as a sponsor of this year's Coaches vs. Cancer event in support of the American Cancer Society.

Throughout the week, we had the privilege of attending both the dinner and golf outing while joining an incredible community dedicated to making a difference. Together, more than $5 million was raised to support lifesaving cancer research and patient programs.

Supporting the fight against cancer is a cause that is especially close to our hearts, and we're grateful to be part of an event that brings people together to create such a meaningful impact.

Last night, the K2 team gathered for our annual company outing at the South Bend Cubs rooftop, and it couldn't have been a better evening! ⚾🌅

We enjoyed great company, beautiful weather, and plenty of laughs while spending time together outside the office. One of the night's biggest highlights was watching our president's son, Ford Weldy, throw out the ceremonial first pitch—a memorable moment for everyone in attendance!

U93 Roofsit raises awareness and funds to help fight child abuse throughout the Michiana community. Supporting organizations and initiatives that protect and advocate for children is something we deeply value, and we are honored to be part of such an important cause.
Today, K2 President Nick Weldy visited Heritage Square to meet with Jodee and Tommy to discuss the impact of Roof Sit, the importance of supporting local families, and the electrical and solar services K2 provides throughout the region.

⚡ Teamwork Makes the Difference ⚡

Following the recent storms, Monogram Foods experienced a power outage that required two 2MW generators to keep critical refrigeration systems running and protect millions of dollars' worth of product.

Finding nearly 2,000 gallons of fuel on short notice proved challenging, but after multiple dead ends, Josh Demeulenaere, K2's VP of Electrical Services, connected with Warda Farms of Niles, Michigan, who graciously allowed us to borrow their fuel tank.

Thanks to their support and the determination of our team, Monogram was able to stay operational until utility power was restored, protecting valuable inventory and minimizing disruption.

We're grateful for strong community partnerships and proud of what can be accomplished when people come together to solve a problem.

“I would like to recognize and sincerely thank our entire team for the outstanding work completed on the 2025 Amazon Data Center Project.

This was a major 35kV electrical infrastructure undertaking that required exceptional coordination, precision, safety, and commitment from everyone involved. Together, the team successfully completed:

51 miles of 35kV cable installed
648 dead-break 35kV terminations
96 riser 35kV terminations for transformer loop feeds
96 riser 35kV terminations for main breakers
96 riser 35kV terminations at the substation
936 total 35kV terminations
144 35kV vault splices

The level of craftsmanship, planning, and teamwork demonstrated throughout this project was truly exceptional. Every crew member played a critical role in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and ex*****on excellence.
