U93 Roofsit raises awareness and funds to help fight child abuse throughout the Michiana community. Supporting organizations and initiatives that protect and advocate for children is something we deeply value, and we are honored to be part of such an important cause.
Today, K2 President Nick Weldy visited Heritage Square to meet with Jodee and Tommy to discuss the impact of Roof Sit, the importance of supporting local families, and the electrical and solar services K2 provides throughout the region.

⚡ Teamwork Makes the Difference ⚡

Following the recent storms, Monogram Foods experienced a power outage that required two 2MW generators to keep critical refrigeration systems running and protect millions of dollars' worth of product.

Finding nearly 2,000 gallons of fuel on short notice proved challenging, but after multiple dead ends, Josh Demeulenaere, K2's VP of Electrical Services, connected with Warda Farms of Niles, Michigan, who graciously allowed us to borrow their fuel tank.

Thanks to their support and the determination of our team, Monogram was able to stay operational until utility power was restored, protecting valuable inventory and minimizing disruption.

We're grateful for strong community partnerships and proud of what can be accomplished when people come together to solve a problem.

“I would like to recognize and sincerely thank our entire team for the outstanding work completed on the 2025 Amazon Data Center Project.

This was a major 35kV electrical infrastructure undertaking that required exceptional coordination, precision, safety, and commitment from everyone involved. Together, the team successfully completed:

51 miles of 35kV cable installed
648 dead-break 35kV terminations
96 riser 35kV terminations for transformer loop feeds
96 riser 35kV terminations for main breakers
96 riser 35kV terminations at the substation
936 total 35kV terminations
144 35kV vault splices

The level of craftsmanship, planning, and teamwork demonstrated throughout this project was truly exceptional. Every crew member played a critical role in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and ex*****on excellence.

Big milestone for K2 ⚡️
After a year of refurbishment, the 35kV to 480V transformer is officially set in its final position at Modineer Plant 6. Final testing and rotation are up next as we push toward project completion.
