- Painting Studies………………………………
Painting Studies are like working on Muscle Memory, in that, the more you paint without fear of making a mistake or to make a mistake and learn how to adjust to that mistake. Some studies can and will never be sold, and others will be as good as you will ever paint at that given time. Painting Studies also allows me to push my limits in critical detailed areas and allow myself to remain calm, steady and stay the course.
This place does not exist, this is a collaboration of areas I put in my memory bank to paint another day. There are a lot of places I can zone out the world around me and literally taken in my total surroundings, my wife Laura knew this about me and stood back and would watch me immerse myself while taking in every note of my surroundings.
The birds were photographed and brought in to create a living landscape.
