Riverwalk Contracting Group is thrilled to welcome Tony Brezo to our company! Tony spent the past four years in the Army and was an E-5 Sergeant when he finished his assignment stationed in Vicenza, Italy. Yesterday Dominic and Niki received the deepest honor to pay their final respects and lay to eternal rest an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend, and craftsman. The day had such a profound impact on our hearts and we will forever be grateful to Billy’s family to be invited to celebrate with them the life of a man we so dearly loved. The warmth and gracious welcoming we received from their community to mourn Billy and to support his beautiful wife and wonderful children was truly humbling and just another reminder as to why we have such a deep appreciation and love for this man and his family.

William Bender Jr., 50, died early Thursday morning, Nov. 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 8, 1972, in Chardon, to William N. and Betty Ann Detweiler Bender.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop of the Bristolville West Church District. He leaves behind his wife, Lynda; children, William III, Michael, Noah, Amy, Phillip, and Julie; four grandchildren; his parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

Billy was not only a master craftsman, but a man with a devote faith in God and with the deepest love for his family and community. He inspired you to always want to be your best self…at home and at work. Billy and his two boys, Micheal and Phillip were like a fine oiled machine when they were building. The love and support they had for each other and their craft came through in each project they touched. There was nothing this man and his two boys could not build or accomplish together. It was truly a pleasure and an honor to work along side of him these past years, but more importantly just to know him. We have no doubt he will be building grand castles in heaven to honor God.

“We will work together again someday, dear friend. Rest peacefully.”

On behalf of our Riverwalk family, we would like to ask that you please keep Billy’s wife and children in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

Apologies for all the projects and shout outs we have not yet had an opportunity to get posted to our FB! Any client that puts their hard earned investment into our company and craftsmanship deserves a spotlight!
Our company has been built and scaled off of referrals alone which is something we are exceptionally proud of. We do not advertise because our work speaks loudly enough for word to travel which in return keeps us incredibly busy. We hope to get caught up on posting all the amazing 2022 projects we have been blessed to be a part of as the end of the year winds down. Stay tuned!

An unforgettable one.💙 A full new home rebuild to the original footprint of a 115 yr old 2200 sq ft lake front cottage passed down in its 3rd family generation! This very special vacation home was completely devastated by a tragic fire in December of 2020. Thank you to the Laurich family and the Redbrook community for allowing us to make your new home feel like our home too!

The best kind of partnership is one where you can crack a few jokes and have a couple of laughs on a Saturday! Niki meeting her older brother and business partner Dominic very early this morning at a clients build site… 😂
Oh, the joys of working alongside this guy are endless! lol
