It is such a gorgeous day here in Central NC that we decided to set up and fold/tie some shirts for tie dying outside on the porch!
We usually do these in batches, we prep the shirts and then set ourselves up with some tunes and sometimes snacks and then we just tie them up in all sorts of creative ways.
Most of the time we have no idea how something will turn out. It's fun seeing what the results are.
Our first Fall event is this coming Saturday (Asheboro Fall Festival) and we will have some new batches of tie dye tees with us!

The last group of wallets is a new version of an old design of mine. This is the Deluxe On the Go ID wallet. It's a small zippered pouch that has a clear ID window on one side of the exterior with a snap closure to keep contents secure. On the other side of the exterior is 2 credit card slots with a flap and snap closure to keep contents secure. Each slot will hold more than 1 card.
The zippered section is perfect for cash, change and even more cards if needed. It could also hold small items like lip balm.
These come with a matching key fob wristlet.

This next little wallet design is very minimalist. These just hold the minimum and would be perfect for a student or for someone that just carries the basics (a little cash, ID and a card or 2).
I didn't get photos of the insides of all of these. If you are interested to know what the inside of a particular one looks like just let me know.

These little wallets have snap closures and inside it has 2 card size slip pockets. The top pocket has a snug flap so it can hold coins.
They all have a small d-ring for a wrist strap. A coil style (think old timey coil phone cord) key ring wristlet comes with it at no additional 💲💵. A matching key fob wristlet can be added for additional 💵.
2 of these are made with leather, the green one and the w**e red one. More leather versions to come.
The w**e red leather version has an added clear ID window in front of the one pocket (see 🖼👇). My son mentioned he likes to just flip his wallet open to show his ID when entering work so I added that detail to the latest leather version and I think it will be in all future versions.

These all feature 6 credit card slots, 2 clear ID windows and a long cash area. There is also a zippered pocket on the back perfect for change and/or lip balm etc. These all have turn lock closures.

Wallets have been the name of the game the last couple weeks. Me and my sewing machine have been cranking them out prepping for Fall events.
I will present each style with details throughout the day today.
Most of these 👇 are the smaller version, there is one full size version and she's a big girl!

The smaller version features 6 credit card slots (except for the pink/floral it has 8 credit card slots), 2 cash/receipt areas behind the credit card slots, a zippered pocket, and an additional section that can hold other essentials like keys, lip balm/gloss/lipstick, etc. It also has a small D-ring so you could attach a wrist strap if you would like. They do not come with a wrist strap but you can request one for additional 💵

Another wallet finished this morning. This one is a big girl! She features 12 credit card slots, 2 cash/receipt areas behind the credit card slots, a zippered pocket, and a turn lock closure. The exterior is faux leather and inside is waterproof canvas.
This girl will even hold a phone so it will hold the essentials plus some 💗.

I am hoping to do a photo session soon with all my inventory so I can get things up on my website. If mother nature would just bring those fall temps it would make things so much more pleasant to go outside and snap those pics 🍁🍂. Bring on Fall.....

I know I haven't been around much lately. We lost my sweet mother in law a little over 3 weeks ago. She was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2021, she had been showing symptoms for much longer than this but we had a tough time convincing her to go and be evaluated.
When she started to decline rapidly I had a hard time finding the desire to sew. My mind was a jumble of emotions and I couldn't focus.

I have finally been finding my sewjo again and I have been prepping for Fall events. I am only doing a select few this year. I will create a calendar for those very soon.

My latest tool investment arrived this morning! This is a rivet press but it's so much more than that. It also sets snaps and other fun things! So, instead of the hammer and anvil tools I now have a professional press to ensure my rivets set properly .

It's the little things (they feel big to me) that really get me excited ❤️!

A new style bag hot off my sewing machine! Meet the sidekick!
The sidekick may look simple but it has some fun surprises!
The sidekick features 2 'hidden' pockets. One is located on the front under the flap and is perfect for your keys or smaller items you want easy access to. The other 'hidden' pocket is on the back of the bag and it is perfect for a phone. It gives you easy, quick access.

Inside, the sidekick is quite roomy and features a card pocket that will hold multiple cards.

The sidekick has enough room inside that it could easily hold a wallet with room for other items.

The Sidekick in the photos is made with a brown waxed canvas and an out of print Michael Miller quilting cotton called Daisy Dreams for the outside. Inside is a water proof canvas. It closes with a magnetic snap on the flap and has an adjustable and removable strap made with cotton webbing that features an accent of that Michael Miller Daisy Dreams to give it a little extra pop tying it all together.
