ERS is proud to partner with the Development Authority of Walton County and Walton County educators for the Educator Externship program.
For many students, career decisions start with conversations in the classroom. That's why giving educators firsthand exposure to industries like heavy civil construction is so important.
During the externship, local educators visited active job sites, rode along with our teams, and heard directly from interns about the skills, training, and career paths that lead to success in our industry. By seeing the work up close, educators gain a deeper understanding of the skilled careers available to students who excel in hands-on environments and are interested in turning practical skills and problem-solving abilities into long-term careers.
We appreciate the opportunity to showcase the people, equipment, and projects that keep our communities moving while helping educators connect classroom learning to real-world careers. 🚜🏗️
