Today isn’t about barbecues and the beginning of summer. It’s in the remembrance of our military.
We would like honor one of our own, who lost his life in Vietnam
William Louis Lowman was born in Delaware on Nov 8th 1944. He was drafted and became a Private First Class in the U.S.Army,199th LIB Unit,12th Infantry Regiment,4th Battalion E Company in Field Artillery. Army Private First Class Lowman started his military tour on Dec 9th 1966. On Feb 4th 1967 he gave his all in the line of duty. Army Private First Class Lowman was just 23 years old when he experienced a traumatic event which ultimately resulted in loss of his life on February 4th 1967.
Army Private First Class Lowman was killed within 2 months in combat by small arms gun fire on Feb 4th 1967 in Military Region 3,Gia Dinh South Vietnam..He is listed as casualty number 9113 Army Private First Class Lowman is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC. inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 14e, Line 118 with a Purple Heart
