What is small again this year in the garden?

I was invited to a Farmers Market tomorrow Evening. Maybe this is a new door opening for me. To me it is amazing that I was thought of to participate in it. Thank you Brenda Pedigo at The Attic on West Walnut Downtown Smithville, Tn 4pm to 7pm.

What was the biggest wins 🏆 in your garden?

I am blessed with all the Family and friends I have. I have amazing people in my life support me and encourage me. This includes all my followers and everyone that that likes, comments, shares my page and post.

What was the biggest wins 🏆 in your garden?

Have a garden! Helps me stay active and help my metal health as well. The garden gives me new ideas and keep my creativity going! I enjoy it so much.

We have Red Skull 💀 Jalapeño Chocolate.

Green Jalapeño 💚 Pepper 🌶.

Still trying to figure out prices. I am thinking 🤔 4/5 Skulls 💀 for $1.00

3 Jalapeño Peppers 🌶 for $1.00

2 Days, 2 Flavors, 6 batches equals about 60 Jars of some goodness 😋!

I did 4 batches of Strawberry Jalapeño 🍓 Jam. Then did 2 batches of Spicy Peach 🍑 Jam.

I will have this at the Farmers Market Downtown Smithville,TN September 4th, 2026 4pm to 7pm.

Here is my canning setup. I have a ¼ cake pan to help catch any drips and can handle heat. Bottom right I keep my vinegar wipe. Blue funnel stays on top edge. Left corner is my fill spot. My lid magnet is up on the stove hood. I leave the middle open to place the next jar 🫙 when swapping it out.

When I start out the rings and lids are in the back right eye. When it is time to can I bring them to the front right.

I always try to work in a triangle 🔺️. Everything in reach. Less movement and easier to work. If I feel like the water is getting to high in the water bath I will dump water out of each jar to the right and behind me. But is still only 1 step away.

Kinda an odd question. I did 4 batches of jame the last 2 days. Between every batch. Washed everything thing. Even the canning pot and the measuring cup that only put 2oz of lemon juice. Is this all over dramatic?

Day 1

What is small again this year in the garden?

This year I got 3 good Cantaloupe. That was really good. Last year I got 3 small that all split on me. I am making progress. There was a few others. But the first 3 was the best ones.

What was the biggest wins 🏆 in your garden?

May blackberries was amazing! More than I ever imagined! This was 3 years in the works to get this far! I hope next year does half as good.

😋 Yumm! Strawberry Jalapeño Jam time! 18 Jars down. Not sure how many more I will make. I will keep going until I run out of strawberries 🍓. This year. All of my Jams are coming from the Garden.

The first year came from freezen strawberries from the store and my peppers 🌶. As long the garden plays nice with me. From here on out all Jams will come from the garden.

So, far I am growing my blackberries, peaches, strawberries and peppers for all of my Jams. None is coming from the guy down the road or the Amish a county away. I am not saying anything is wrong with that. Don't take me wrong. I am just proud I am growing all of it.

I did get a few watermelons 🍉... I may try to experiment... not sure if they are ripe enough for it.
