I used to get home after midnight, exhausted, wondering why I was grinding that hard for someone else's dream.
That thought sat with me until I finally decided enough was enough. I got my licenses, built Taff Service Company LLC from the ground up, and started doing things my way. That was four years ago, and I have been serving the Chattahoochee Valley ever since.
One thing I hear from homeowners over and over is that they hate being left in the dark. You schedule a technician, clear your whole morning, and then just... wait. Nobody calls. Nobody shows. I have been on the other side of that frustration, and I refuse to run my business that way. If I am on my way, I let you know. If anything changes with the schedule, I reach out before you ever have a chance to wonder what happened.
That habit matters more than people realize. I got a call one Sunday evening from a homeowner who had just gotten back from being out of town. Water was leaking through their ceiling from the AC unit. They were stressed, exhausted from traveling, and had no idea how bad the damage was. I came out that same evening and got the unit draining again by addressing a rusted out drain pan that was causing all the trouble.
From there, they walked me through every concern they had with that old system. We talked through the options, I put together a quote for a new system, and once it was installed, every single issue they had mentioned was resolved. They were genuinely grateful, not just for the Sunday visit, but for actually being heard.
That moment is exactly why I started this business.
Now I get to build my schedule around what matters. My family gets more of my time. I am not punching a clock or missing the moments that count.
On the weekends, you will usually find me out back firing up my smoker. Pork, beef, poultry, I love experimenting with different methods and seeing what I can pull off. When I am not cooking, I am probably at Rosehill Seafood ordering the fried catfish plate. That place takes me straight back to Sunday lunches with my grandparents. Nothing like it.
Also, I am on a mission to find the best BBQ in the valley. Any suggestions?
