Please join us in recognizing David Cox today! David was on Harrison Ave in Taunton, when a woman came out running from her house with a little boy who wasn’t breathing. The family is Cape Verde, and they spoke limited English. David immediately stepped in and popped him on his back until he heard a gurgling, went in his mouth, and found a hard toy that was lodged in his throat. He made sure he could hear him breathe until the ambulance and the police arrived. They were able to remove the object and took the little boy to the hospital. He's going to be okay!
We are extremely proud of David for staying calm under pressure and just being the person who the family needed at that moment in time. Truly a lifesaving moment and a hero to this family and AGI!
