Labor of Love

Kevin Clynes, Sr. is a man with a passion for paving & construction. Kevin is usually found in the garage at 4:00am getting his crews ready for the day. His job is a 24 hour a day/7 day a week position and not once will you ever hear him complain. Kevin was born into his family’s paving business and he has never wanted to do anything else. His family taught him that hard work and keeping your word pays off. Since Kevin has gone on his own and started KCI Corp., he has had steady growth each year while superior quality remains at its highest level. One of the most important things that Kevin takes pride in is building friendships with the customers that he serves and his employees. He has learned from the family business that trust is key when dealing with customers. If they trust you and you keep your word, people will want to do business with you and when you have a good product, they not only keep coming back but they recommend you to others. Kevin’s biggest influence in his career is Chris Coviello who is in the same line of work and shares the same passion. He has been a great mentor and has given him never ending support and guidance. In Kevin’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his children and watching them grow and succeed in accomplishing their own goals. If you ask Kevin what his key to success is, he will say that you need to love what you do and you have to work hard to get there.

Big projects take a team.

From the crew on the ground to the equipment operators and everyone coordinating behind the scenes, every person plays a role in getting the job done right.
It takes communication, precision, and a whole lot of teamwork to turn a work site into a finished surface.

Everyone has a part. Every part matters.

How about this What goes into a commercial paving project? It’s more than just laying asphalt.

A successful paving project starts with understanding the customer’s needs, expectations, and how the property operates.
Our team begins by evaluating the existing surface, site drainage, traffic patterns, access points, and how the property needs to function throughout the project.

From there, the work is carefully coordinated to minimize disruption while creating a durable, quality finished surface.

Plan first. Execute carefully. Always put safety first.
