🐞 Seeing Asian lady beetles gathering around your windows and siding?

As Wisconsin temperatures cool, these beetles look for sheltered places to spend the winter. They often gather on sunny sides of homes and slip inside through small gaps around windows and doors.

Seal those gaps, repair damaged screens, and vacuum up beetles that make it indoors.

Why Are Stink Bugs So Active in the Fall?🍂

Seeing more black and red bugs gathering on the sunny side of your house? Boxelder bugs are especially active around Wisconsin homes in September and October. They’re mostly a nuisance, but they can slip through gaps around windows, doors, and siding as they look for a sheltered place to spend the winter.

It's officially Fall, but that doesn't mean the wasps are gone.

Mature nests can still be very active this time of year, and yellow jackets may become especially noticeable around garbage, outdoor food and drinks, decks and yards. Increased wasp activity around your property can be a sign that a nest is nearby.

Unfortunately, your house is one of them.

Check around garage doors, utility lines, foundations, siding and exterior doors for small gaps. It doesn't take much of an opening for a mouse to find its way inside.

Finding small holes around your flower beds, patio or foundation?

Chipmunks create clean, round burrow openings about two inches across and often carry the excavated soil away, leaving little or no dirt pile behind. You may also notice dug-up flower beds, missing bulbs or chipmunks darting along foundations and retaining walls.
