Great conversations, fresh ideas, and a lot of familiar faces! Our team had a great time at the annual AIA South Dakota Convention connecting with colleagues and industry partners.

Yesterday was International Coffee Day, and of course our team participated. ☕ After all, how else are we supposed to keep up with long hours and complex problem-solving?!

Not even a spot of rain could get in the way of Kelly, Brakken, Tyson and Autumn enjoying the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Network Golf Outing! ⛳

Even better, this year’s outing brought our team back to Elmwood Golf Course and the new clubhouse we recently helped bring to completion.

It’s always rewarding to see a space we designed being used exactly as intended: bringing people together, supporting the community and creating a great experience.

A great afternoon on the course, with a little friendly competition and plenty of team time along the way!

Our Associate Architect Isabella recently transferred from our Fargo office and joined Iman and Wayne in St. Paul!

After what feels like weeks of nonstop rain, we’re hoping Isabella brings a little sunshine with her to the St. Paul office. Unfortunately, their first team lunch didn’t exactly support that theory. 🌧️

We’re glad to have Isabella settled into St. Paul and excited for this next chapter with the team! 🎉

Happy 14-Year Work Anniversary to our founder and CEO, Todd Stone! 🎉

Fourteen years ago, Todd made the decision to take a chance on his vision and build Stone Group Architects. Since then, his drive and determination have continued to shape who we are today.

Todd is always looking ahead. He challenges our team to think bigger, pursue new opportunities, continuously improve, and never become too comfortable with where we are today. That mindset has helped turn what he started 14 years ago into the firm and team we are proud to be part of today.

Todd, thank you for taking that first leap and for continuing to push SGA forward with the same ambition and determination. We’re proud to celebrate you and everything you’ve built!

For 14 years, Stone Group Architects has been committed to Positively Impacting People & Place. That impact wouldn't be possible without the clients, partners, employees, and communities who have trusted us, collaborated with us, and believed in our mission along the way.

We're proud of the spaces we've helped bring to life, but even more proud of the relationships we've built and the difference those projects make for the people who use them every day. Each opportunity to serve a community, solve a challenge, and create meaningful places is a privilege we don't take for granted.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for helping us make a lasting impact where people live, learn, work, heal, and gather.

Todd stepped out of the office for a bit, so naturally, we took the opportunity to reimagine our conference room. 👀

We asked the team what they’d turn it into if they could. The requests were:
☕ A super-jacked coffee bar
🎣 An outdoorsman’s paradise
📺 The ultimate office sports lounge

Three very different approaches to workplace design. 😂
Which one are you picking?

For the record: This was purely a fun team exercise. No conference rooms were harmed, demolished or renovated in the making of these concepts.

Cheers to 5 years, Tami! 🎉 Today (and every day) we're celebrating Tami and the energy, expertise, and dedication she brings to Stone Group Architects. Her commitment to great work, willingness to support her team, and unmistakable personality make an impact across SGA every day.

We’re grateful for all you bring to the team, Tami! Happy 5 years! 🎉

A new season of Salute to Service is underway! 🇺🇸

This football season, SGA is proud to partner with Augustana University Vikings to honor a military veteran at every home game.

Each selected veteran will receive four tickets for themselves and their guests and will be recognized during the game as we share their story and honor their service.

Our next opportunity to honor a veteran is Saturday, October 3 at 1:00 PM, when Augustana takes on the University of Sioux Falls at Kirkeby-Over Stadium!

We need your help finding the veterans we’ll honor this season. Nominate a veteran in your life or help us spread the word!
