A new chapter for the Turner County Courthouse has begun after an official ribbon cutting.

Community members and project partners gathered to celebrate the completed courthouse and the important role it will serve in Turner County. For our Journey Construction team, it was rewarding to see the doors open on a project built around the needs of the people who will use it every day.

Last week, representatives from Journey Group joined students and industry partners at the Lake Area Tech Build Dakota Luncheon. Programs like Build Dakota help create a direct track from the classroom to a career in our industry.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with student Gavin Miles as he pursues his Heavy Equipment Operator degree. We look forward to being part of Gavin’s path to the workforce as he builds his skills and prepares for a career with Journey Group.

Journey Construction recently completed the 45,000 sq. ft. foot South Dakota State University Metro Center in Sioux Falls, creating a hands-on learning environment for nursing and pharmacy students. From simulation labs to modern learning spaces, the finished facility will help prepare future healthcare professionals to serve communities across our region.
