Today we honor all the soldiers who never made it home. They made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in freedom.

We would like to take a moment to remember some of our brothers who did not return home from their deployment. These soldiers will always hold a special place in our hearts, especially because one of our owners, Greg, served alongside them during that deployment.

Their courage, sacrifice, and memory will never be forgotten.

There’s a lot that goes into building a custom home, but one of the hardest parts is simply finding the right place to build it. For us, that’s never just a business decision—it’s something we pray about. We ask for direction, for clarity, and for the right opportunities to serve families well.

That’s exactly what led us to Prairie Acres in Tea, just outside of Sioux Falls. It’s a neighborhood built around space, intention, and long-term living—acreage lots over an acre, water features throughout, and the flexibility to add outbuildings without feeling restricted. The lots themselves offer a variety of options including walkout, garden, and flat layouts, with natural gas, rural water, and electric already in place. With private roads, a shared park, and ponds woven into the landscape, it’s the kind of setting that gives families room to settle in and build something that lasts.

We currently have the opportunity to build on three lots in Prairie Acres—21, 22, and 26. If you’ve been thinking about building, this is one of those rare moments where the location and the builder come together the right way. As always, we don’t take that lightly, and we’re grateful for it.

When we started Copper Creek Construction, we set out to build exceptional custom homes while being rooted in faith and centered on family. Over the years, that’s guided every decision—how we treat people, how we approach each project, and the standard we hold ourselves to.
