Reaves Buildings Reaves Buildings aren't just built, they're engineered.

We design, build and supply on time and on budget engineered products through innovative practices and experienced professionals. After spending many years perfecting the process of applying wood truss technology to other building components, such as wall and roof brace panels and special columns, Lloyd Reaves was awarded Patent #4,468,218 for his invention. This tradition of innovation and progress has lead Reaves Building Systems to develop four styles of totally engineered buildings that use this exclusive technology: The Reaves (RB-R), the Modified Reaves (RB-MR), the Silas (RB-S), and the Douglas (RB-D).

October is Employee Ownership Month, and at Mead Lumber and our family of brands, being 100% employee-owned isn't just a corporate structure, it's how we do business every day.

When our team members step into our stores, yards, and manufacturing facilities, they aren't just doing a job; they’re building their own future. From taking extra care with job site deliveries to giving expert advice at the counter, "thinking like an owner" translates directly into how we serve our customers and local communities.

Hear directly from our team about what employee ownership means to them and why being an ESOP makes Mead Lumber such a rewarding place to grow a career! 👇
