Last week we remodeled this home in Parker, SD. We tore off 2 layers of siding, changed all of the roof flashing, added house wrap and LP Expert Finish siding and aluminum soffit and fascia. Finished product turned out beautifully!

While reshingling this house in Sioux Falls this week, we discovered that all of the plywood was delaminated and needed to be replaced. The bad plywood was caused by 3 bathroom fans that were just vented into the attic instead of going out through the roof, as well as a broken pipe in the attic. That combined with poor roof intake ventilation caused the plywood to rapidly go bad. Everything is vented properly now.

Be sure when reroofing your home, to make sure that all of these items are checked. Proper ventilation is key for the life of your roof!
