Happy World Architecture Day!

We draw walls. Move walls. Move them back. Add a door. Delete the door. Then somehow turn it all into a building.
Architecture is basically solving 1,000 little problems while making sure the final result looks like there were never any problems at all.
Add in a few redlines, a lot of coordination, questionable amounts of caffeine and you’ve got the job.

Cheers to the architects, engineers, contractors, clients and everyone else who helps bring the crazy ideas to life.

Washington Crossing’s new West Campus is taking shape, and this drone footage gives a pretty great look at the progress so far.

88 new apartment homes, new resident amenities, and a whole lot of exciting work happening on site. We’re proud to be part of the team bringing it all together!

says architecture has to be all business?
Designed by our team in 2014, the Carsforsale.com building at Lake Lorraine in Sioux Falls gave us the opportunity to create something that stands out from the crowd. The curved glass entry, precast concrete panels, curtainwall, storefront, and metal panels come together to create a distinctive exterior with plenty of architectural character.
And the inside? That’s where things get really interesting. A NASCAR sitting on a replica Talladega track greets you in the building entry, while a full-size ‘Stan’ the T. Rex fossil stands in the middle of the open office workspace.
The building also includes multiple golf simulators, a spiral slide, and a full-size auditorium, because why settle for a typical office building when you can create a workplace that’s anything but ordinary?
More than a decade later, it’s still a project that reminds us how much fun architecture can be.

Big things are coming to Fort Pierre!

We're excited to announce a new mixed-use development featuring 21 residential units, a parking garage, fitness center, swimming pool, and commercial tenants.

Located in Fort Pierre overlooking the Missouri River, this project is designed to bring modern living, new business opportunities, and a vibrant addition to the heart of the Fort Pierre community.

Construction is moving right along at the fellowship hall for St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, and the building is really starting to take shape!

The foundations, walls, and roof trusses are now complete, giving us a first look at the scale and form of the fellowship hall.

We also had the privilege of taking part in a special ceremony to place prayer rocks within the front entry vestibule. These rocks serve as a lasting reminder that this building is about more than CMU, wood, and concrete. It is being built around the faith, prayers, and community that will fill it for generations to come.

It’s exciting to watch this project move from drawings on paper to a place that will soon become a gathering point for the St. Katharine Drexel community.
