Red Rock Construction partnered with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to restore and protect this shoreline from future erosion through grading, cleanup, and installation of engineered rock protection.

The result: a cleaner shoreline, improved stability, and long-term protection for years to come.

This week, Red Rock Construction was the low bidder on a local water main improvement project.

While we weren’t ultimately awarded the work, the experience reinforced an important lesson that applies to every industry: relationships matter.

The owner chose a contractor they have worked with successfully on numerous past projects. Their decision wasn’t simply about dollars and cents—it was about trust, familiarity, and confidence built through years of working together.

And honestly, we respect that.

With the threat of severe weather over the next couple of days, we have mobilized the new Develon DTL 26 Storm Chaser Edition to gather storm data for local meteorologists. The information gathered should help everyone stay safe and know precisely when to head out to the back yard and take pictures of the storms!
