Hello, Boetel Boys Property Maintenance followers and clients-
We've finally reached the last day of a week full of hard work and just had to have a big setback as we discovered that somebody had the nerve to hit and run the trailer that has serviced many of you. As a one man business owner, you can probably imagine the hurt and frustration we are feeling as we were about to finish a large Job TODAY in Madison. This happened near the corner of 3rd and Valley View, just a few blocks away from where the Sloppy Weiner truck was hit, and a witness said it was a Brand new gray SUV. If anybody has any information, PLEASE don't hesitate to share so we can include it in the police report. The Mobile Home park that we reside in does not allow parking on their streets otherwise they will tow, hence why it was parked on the side street just like the food truck, so please no negative comments on why it wasn't parked at our home.
The first picture shows how far forward they pushed the trailer and the rest shows how it was up on the curb. There isn't much damage done cosmetic wise, but by what we can see, it's possible the axle severely damaged which could be a couple thousand dollars to fix. The insurance is a $1000.00 deductible, but because the trailer wasn't flipped, it's possible that insurance will not cover it. We won't know what to expect until after we get the trailer assessed.
Cody has always had a dream to be his own boss and began this business in October of 2019. He was worked very hard to maintain his company and make a name for himself, he is not some big corporation who doesn't have to worry, he's a one man small local business owner and this will have a big impact on what he's been working so hard for these last two years. Any kind of information would be so greatly appreciated. This trailer is Cody's livelihood.
Please, SLOW DOWN out there when weather conditions are like this and if you hit somebody's vehicle, just STOP and handle your business.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, please please please, share any information you may have. Thank you, Boetel Boys family. God bless, drive safe.
