🌡️ Do you have 5 minutes? Give your thermostat a quick test.

A few simple checks can tell you a lot about how your heating and cooling system is responding before a small comfort issue turns into a bigger headache.

Try this quick thermostat test:

✅ Make sure it’s set to the correct mode, HEAT or COOL
✅ Adjust the temperature a few degrees from the current room temperature
✅ Listen for your system to turn on
✅ Check a nearby vent for steady airflow
✅ Give it a few minutes and see if the room starts moving toward your set temperature

If your system doesn’t respond, keeps cycling on and off, or the temperature just isn’t changing like it should, there may be more going on than a thermostat setting.
