From the ashes !!!
I know now that sometimes I had to fall to my knees before I could learn how powerful it felt to rise again..
My struggles don’t define me.
My mistakes don’t limit me.
And every time I fell wasn’t proof that I was failing..
It was teaching me something I couldn’t have learned standing comfortably on my feet.
I stumbled.
I broke.
I cried until there were no tears left.
But somewhere inside all that pain, I discovered something stronger than anything trying to destroy me..
Me.
There are still days when getting out of bed feels like an accomplishment.
Days when smiling takes everything I have.
Days when I don’t feel strong, beautiful or remotely unstoppable.
But I get up anyway.
Maybe messy.
Maybe tired.
Maybe held together by determination and coffee..
But I rise.
That’s what I’ve learned about myself.
Life can knock me down..
It just can’t keep me there.
I’ve walked through fires I once believed would destroy me and emerged carrying their flames inside my soul.
I’m not afraid of darkness anymore.
I know my light survives it.
I’m more than a survivor.
I’m a fighter.
A believer.
A dreamer who finally understands that no one gets to decide what I’m capable of except me.
I had to lose pieces of myself to discover who I really was.
I had to watch old versions of me burn away before I could become the woman waiting beneath the ashes.
And now..
Here I am.
Scarred.
Wiser.
Stronger.
Alive in ways I never understood before.
My wounds became wisdom.
My failures became lessons.
My setbacks became the beginning of my comeback.
I’m done merely surviving from one day to the next.
This is my life.
My chance.
My time.
So bring the storms.
Bring the hard days.
Bring whatever tries to test me next.
I know who I am now.
I know what I can survive.
Some people spend their lives running from the fire..
I stopped running.
I walked straight through it.
And somewhere among the ashes of everything that tried to break me..
I became the flame.
Now watch me rise.
Watch me shine.
Because this Phoenix has finally remembered exactly how to fly.
