We'll discuss:
~ why Roses do well in our High Desert
~ different types of Roses
~ proper planting procedures for bare root and container roses
~ growing Roses in containers
~ irrigation and fertilization
~ the "how-to" and "why" ... Pruning and Dead-Heading Roses.
~ proper tools
~ common pests and diseases affecting Roses in our area
Workshop is $5 paid at the door, cash or check
Proceeds benefit the Discovery Gardens at UA Sierra Vista and our ongoing Master Gardener Outreach Educational programs.
