Career Exploration Academy Gives Students a Hands-On Look at the Trades!

Nothing beats learning by doing, and that's exactly what students experienced at Career Exploration Academy in Sidney!

Students rotated through interactive stations for various employers. The Ferguson station featured: 🔨 Carpentry, helping build picnic tables for donation, 🧱 Masonry & Concrete, using real tools and materials, 🚜 Equipment Operations, testing their skills in a fun basketball scoop challenge 🏀

These are all trades Ferguson self-performs, and our team loves sharing what construction is really like while having some fun along the way.

A big thank you to Workforce Partnership of Shelby County for creating such a great experience and helping connect students with future career opportunities!

A New Home for Franklin's Littlest Cubs: 42,000 SF Preschool Complete

Proudly introducing a new den for the Cubs! 🐾 Ferguson Construction recently completed the new Franklin Cub Academy for Franklin Community Schools, creating a welcoming space designed to support the district's youngest learners.

The 42,000 SF facility features eight general classrooms, four preschool classrooms, a cafeteria, flexible common areas, and two distinct learning wings capable of serving up to 300 students.

What stood out most throughout this project was the incredible collaboration among school leaders, parents, community members, and project partners. Together, they brought a shared vision to life. From the thoughtfully designed learning environments to the playful paw print details woven throughout the facility, we're proud to have built a space where Franklin's future Cubs can learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you to Franklin Community Schools for the opportunity and partnership.
