In this video I teach you guys how to remove shrubs! You will need sawzall with a pruning blade & a sharp shooter. Using this method you can easily remove any shrub or small tree from the gardens. This was a tea olive shrub I cut down, & the wife was actually allergic to these. I removed these as part of the project. I redid these gardens for this client, & the finished results were incredible with new edging, 100 perennial plants, & black mulch. Fall is a great time for flowerbed clean-ups & planting. Take your time when you're weeding around plants! I always check with the homeowner to make sure there are no bulbs underground that could get dug up. Using a hoe or pickaxe, I can clear an area of the garden bed without damaging the root system of the plant. You only need to dig in the top layer of soil. Hey everybody! I'm out here in Blanchard doing a landscape job revamping the flowerbeds. These beds are under a lot of mature trees, & it's in a debris laden area. I told the client that it'd be best to do pine straw instead of mulch to keep it from getting dirty with leaves, & they agreed to. That'll be the next step now that the prep work is done! Good prep work is really what makes a patio solid & strong. This was an awesome poolside patio project, and the client wanted to turn this flowerbed into a poolside area to chill & relax on.
