We've made it to week 4, on this landscape/hardscape project, & the sand is going in! I use a high quality paver sand to bed down the pavers! Just like flowers & humans need a bed, & pavers need a bed to. And I made those small metal pipes by cutting 10ft sections of 3/4" metal pipe fown into 12" sections

Concrete on the edge locks in the border pavers, & keeps the walkway looking good everyday by keeping the border pavers from slipping. This is an important step in the process, & make sure you give it enough time to dry! If you need a walkway or patio, please call (318)-455-8384!

Compaction keeps the pavers or stone from sinking! If you do pavers, you know how big of a problem a sunken patio or walkway can be for you after it's already been finished. Good compaction is a must for all of my paver builds, & will give you a peace of mind knowing your outdoor living area isn't hiding problems. I do gardening as well as paver & stone projects. When I plan your next sqsproject, I think about all the things ahead that could be a problem or will be needed during the project, & a lot of thought goes into planning a project like this. All of the dirt is officially out from the walkway, & stone edging! We finished up putting in our fabric on Friday, & the results are incredible. Taking all of the dirt out is the difference between a project that lasts decades, & a one that lasts overnight 😂. Call to get a quick free quote at (318)-455-8384!

If you have trees in your yard, it's almost that time when they start dropping their leaves! Most lawns in Shreveport have warm-season turfgrasses like st. augustine, bermuda, & zoysia that need sunlight & oxygen to grow. Leaves on top can suffocate it. Don't let the leaves pile up!
