Another week another transformation. This past week we installed a 26 x28 patio some granite steps. With a smaller walkway to the pool and fire pit bump out. Brick was Techo bloc blu60 and Eva. Tight area but the ulift and engcon head made life easy.

Constructing a Unilock U-Cara seating wall. Using the universal base unit makes any wall a breeze and adhering the block together with structure bond foam adhesive makes life easy. One can is equal to 20 tubes this whole wall took two cans and was used on every block.

This week we had a nice front entrance makeover. We removed the failing precast steps and asphalt walkway. After removing we found that the front of the house was backfilled with silt. Silt is definitely not recommended so we removed almost two feet of material and backfilled with the appropriate gravel in lifts with compaction. A little above and beyond we installed a layer of drivegrid. This will also help with soil stability. Thin layer of . End result new 8’ wide granite steps with a sexy new walkway. Techo bloc Everest was picked out and as always never disappoints.

I apologize for not getting any before pictures of this yard installation. Trust me it was BAD large sinkholes all weeds no appropriate grading. In two days we stripped it graded it and topped it with 100yds of new loam. We also added some new plants and arborvitae for a screen.

Great couple of days under the tent. We took this time of much needed rain to remove the unstable turf and organics from under the tents. Arbor Day 2026,
Last year at the Lura A. White School in Shirley, the aging trees had begun to pose a safety concern around the playground, making it necessary to remove them. While their absence was felt—especially the loss of shade and natural beauty—it also created an opportunity to reimagine the space.
Guthrie Bros. Landscaping Inc. stepped in, working with the appropriate officials to help restore the area. With the support of members of this wonderful community, we planted 12 new maple trees and 2 flowering dogwoods, and regraded the front lawn to create a lush, green space for everyone to enjoy.
