Flat Roof Friday!

We’re completing the final details on this commercial roofing project, which involved a more extensive scope than usual.

Our crew completed a full tear-off down to the roof deck, replaced 41 rafters and 65 sheets of decking, and installed 6 inches of ISO board insulation to meet code requirements. We finished it with a fully adhered Mule-Hide TPO membrane system.

The new roofing system includes a 20-year warranty, helping protect the owner’s toys and stored belongings for years to come.

Rain may slow down production, but our guys are still hard at work tackling the tasks that sometimes get set aside during the busy season.

Today, a few were adding office space for our growing team, while others worked on cleaning and organizing the warehouse and clearing out leftover special-order materials. Another group hit the road to catch up on errands.

We appreciate a team that takes pride in every part of the business. Days like these help us stay organized and ready for the next project.

The Hocevar family called us about a month ago after storms rolled through the area. ⛈️

Our team scheduled a time for one of our Project Advisors to come out and assess the roof for storm damage. The storm damage was minor but with the roof being over 25 years old, we found several other areas that needed to be maintained or addressed.

We went over everything with the homeowners and gave them options,take care of the necessary repairs or look at replacing the entire roof.

They decided it made the most sense to go ahead with a full roof replacement, and while the roof was being done, they also chose to replace the soffit, fascia, and gutters so the entire roof system would works cohesively.

They chose the Owens Corning Duration Colonial Slate, and it turned out awesome on their beautiful lake property!

Sometimes an inspection after a storm isn’t just about finding storm damage — it’s about making sure the entire roof is doing what it’s supposed to do and giving the homeowner the information they need to make the right decision for their home.

Our team had a fun time at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Parade yesterday! It was great seeing so many familiar faces and being apart of this community event that has supported us over the years.

🏡 Another beautiful roof completed!

This homeowner chose Owens Corning Duration® shingles in Driftwood, along with new Velux skylights, new clay-colored gutters, and RX Gutter Guards to complete the project.

The new Velux skylights bring in an incredible amount of natural light, and with the remote-controlled solar blinds, they can easily control the sunlight and add another level of comfort inside the home.

The new RX Gutter Guards help protect the new gutters by keeping leaves and debris out, allowing water to flow properly and reducing the need for regular gutter cleaning.

A huge thank you to these homeowners for trusting the Better Way Roofing team. We’re grateful for the opportunity to install a roof that will provide lasting protection and peace of mind for years to come.
