OK, I made way too many flowers 🌺🌺🌺 this weekend and even though I thank MANY OF YOU who have bought them… I am going to discount the rest as of 3:00 pm TODAY ONLY!!! (Saturday, Sept 5th).

I have NEVER done this before and possibly never will again but I really hate to not have these flowers that are so beautiful go to someone ❤️

🌸 Hi! I’m Melissa — the flower lady behind Possum Hollow Posies! 🌸

Someone stopped by the flower cart today, met me, and asked, “Are you the creator?” 😊 And yes, I am!

But there’s actually another very important person behind all these flowers — my husband, Tom. ❤️

Together, we start our flowers from seed each year, and while I love choosing what to grow, cutting flowers, creating the bouquets and filling the cart, Tom is the one who does most of the tending to them out in the field. So this little flower cart is definitely a team effort!

I’m also a wife, mom, dog mom to our sweet Sadie 🐾, a licensed Assemblies of God evangelist and Christian speaker. And speaking of Sadie — you just might see her around when you stop at the cart! 😊

When I’m not preparing a message, traveling to speak, or working on something for ministry, you can often find me surrounded by buckets of flowers creating bouquets for the cart. 💐

I absolutely love sharing our flowers with you. There’s just something special about knowing that flowers we started from tiny seeds right here at home are now sitting on someone’s kitchen table or brightening someone’s day.

So if you’ve ever wondered who’s behind Possum Hollow Posies… Hi! I’m Melissa — and there’s a Tom (and sometimes our sweet Sadie! 🐾) behind the scenes helping make it all possible! 🌻😊
