Swipe to watch this entry staircase go from worn and weathered to a standout first impression 👉 The old gray boards and wood railing are gone. In their place are warm, rich Trex treads and crisp black aluminum railing that will hold up season after season. Same stairs, completely different welcome home. Lake Oswego, this one’s for you.

Good bones, tired boards 🪵

This Lake Oswego deck was still solid underneath, so there was no reason to start from scratch. We put down fresh Trex decking, paired it with black aluminum railing, and gave the homeowner a deck that looks brand new while keeping the budget in check. Sometimes the smartest upgrade is the simplest one.

Boss: “Where’s my impact driver?” 😤
You: “No idea, you had it last.” 😇
Your brain: remembers it’s on a couch 💡😭
Now you’re praying he never asks again. Tag the coworker who “lost” something this week 🔨

Getting new siding? Ask your contractor this: do you just swap the panels, or do you do the whole job?

At Salexx, everything comes off, from the trim to the siding. Then we inspect what’s underneath and replace any rotted plywood before the new siding goes on. Skipping that step is how problems come back. Doing it right means a wall that stays protected for years.

Did our guy seriously just take a bite out of a cardboard sign?! 😳

Nope. Just a snack break caught at the worst (best) angle. 📦😂

🎨 Here’s a mistake that costs homeowners big time: painting over the problem instead of fixing it first.

A fresh coat might hide rot, water damage, or other issues for a while, but it doesn’t make them go away. Left untreated, that’s exactly where the real damage keeps growing, until it turns into a costly repair down the road.

Always fix the problem first, then paint. Your home (and your wallet) will thank you.
