Arete Design Group is seeking a full-time contract administrator who enjoys solving problems in real time, collaborating with teams in the office and in the field, and ensuring that what’s drawn on paper works in the real world.

Our Contract Administrator serves as a critical link between the design team and construction teams, helping ensure that projects are clear, coordinated, and buildable.

You won’t be stuck behind a desk every day. You will be out on job sites, collaborating, problem-solving, and helping our team continually improve how we design and document projects.

What a beauty! The renovation at 22 Grinnell in downtown Sheridan blends historic character with modern updates. The project included renovation of the street-level retail storefront, offices and an apartment overlooking the city. This adaptive reuse project celebrates Sheridan’s architectural history while breathing new life into its future.

Thank you to everyone who braved the wind and joined us to celebrate Karen Kelly's retirement.

Karen has been a leader at Arete for 10 years, spearheading dozens of projects and building lasting relationships with clients, partners, and communities along the way. Her dedication, creativity, and leadership have shaped countless buildings across Wyoming, leaving a legacy that will be felt for years to come.

While we are certainly sad to see Karen step into retirement, we are thrilled for her next chapter—traveling with her husband, Rob, and spending more time with her children and grandchild. Please join us in congratulating Karen on this well-deserved milestone.

We are excited to announce our latest project - the design of the new Tribal Buffalo Center on the Wind River Reservation.

The return of the buffalo to the Shoshone and Arapaho people represents more than a restoration of a species. It is an act of renewal for the land, the people, and generations to come. In recognition of this powerful movement, the Wind River Sage Fund has selected Arete Design Group to design the new Tribal Buffalo Center in Morton, Wyo. This project will serve as a cultural and educational landmark for the Wind River Reservation and beyond.

Arete is partnering with , an internationally recognized firm known for creating spaces that honor culture, history, and human connection. Arete and MASS will work closely with the tribes, the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Initiative, the Wind River Sage Fund, and the surrounding community to design a building that listens to the land and reflects the spirit of the buffalo.

Arete Design Group helped deliver a design/build project for Laramie County Fire District No. 1 - Station No. 3 that combines practical needs with thoughtful design.
