If you’ve been thinking about getting chickens but raising chicks feels like too much work—or you’ve heard the horror stories about buying from big box stores and ending up with all roosters—have no fear!
We’re starting a new yearly rotation and have a group of great laying hens ready for new homes. There’s nothing wrong with these ladies—they’ve simply done their time with us, and to stay profitable we rotate in younger birds.
These hens should still produce around 300 brown eggs per year for the next few years. Just 3–4 hens can easily supply eggs for a family of four.
We can also deliver and help make sure you’re set up and ready.
