Did you know a master electrician undergoes as many years of education and training as some doctors? Entry-level electricians start an apprenticeship and work under a journeyman electrician for 4 to 5 years before taking the electrician exam to become a journeyman electrician. Journeymen work under master electricians for at least 3 more years until they are ready to pass a written and practical exam that covers their electrical competency.

Not all car chargers are the same! Most homes have Level 1 chargers, which are slower but use a standard household receptacle. Level 2 chargers are faster, but they require a dedicated 240-volt receptacle. Level 3 is the fastest, but also most expensive to install and maintain.
