Though the CLBA Chainsaw Team has returned, we still have CLBA Disaster Relief Team members in Greenville. Let's keep Shower Team member Hollis White in our prayers as he serves in Greenville this week.

Friday, Feb 6, we finished up in Greenville - it was a full day. Phil Headly got to drive a Maserati (well... at least down the driveway)... we had two roof repairs... and once again, LOTS of cleanup. There are power poles down everywhere we go... it could be another couple of weeks before some of these folks have power... keep them in your prayers! The CLBA Chainsaw Team teamed up with the Winston County Chainsaw Team - we enjoyed working this week with Winston County members Dave Guiser and David Kelly! And we had future CLBA Chainsaw member Fletcher Graves help wash the equipment upon our return. And of course, there's ALWAYS thanks and gratitude to Walter (you know who you are)!! Thank you all for your prayers and support this past week....

Another dusty, breezy, Delta day… Anything but sleepy! We hit the ground this morning finishing a job we started yesterday… and ending up at this site. Several limbs down and two trees on the house. In fact, we had to being in the big gun - the skid steer The breeze off the fields made the cool temps even cooler… but hearts were warm doing the work for our Lord!

It rained off and on all day Tuesday - more on than off… we did a couple of small jobs as well as a home with 3 large magnolias with lots of limbs down and hanging.

We are heading out this morning to Greenville, Mississippi. Prayers for safety, and prayers for the people to whom we minister… We were reminded this morning by our State leader, “…the chainsaws, the tractors, the skid steers, the trucks, the meals prepared… are just tools to allow us to knock on a door and ask the person on the other side ‘do you know Jesus an the love that He has for you?’”

I was having lunch with DR team member Walter Parsley on 12/30 in which we talked about what a "light year" 2025 was for the team. And later that afternoon Forrest called with a job for the following day. What a great way to close out 2025 - serving our Lord, as we have been called to do. WBC members Greg and Sharron Hammond had a big tree go down on their property line and we were glad to help out! One tree was down, one close by was dead and a third tree was looking really bad so we addressed all three.
