Over the last 30 days, our crews broke rock on several excavations with our Volvo excavators, demolished and removed concrete, placed new concrete, excavated basements, and graded several new and existing sites across the Kansas City metro.

No project is too large or too small.

This might be the best review we’ve ever received, and we’re really proud of it.

Roger and his HOA trusted us to bring their retention pond back to life dewatering, dredging out years of built-up silt, regrading the basin to design, and renovating the drain standpipe.

Roger has spent a lifetime in engineering and construction, so when he calls us “an exceptionally good contractor,” that means a lot to Alex, Michael, Tate and the whole crew. Thank you, Roger, for taking the time to write it. Reviews like this are why we do what we do, and it was even better to earn it on a job right here in our hometown of Shawnee.

Haven’t posted in September. That’s because we’ve been busy. Two tough rock holes in Overland Park, a big full basement excavation in Olathe, 15 grades, and a tight room addition dig in Union Hill. Shawnee’s next with a big pipe job in early October!

Going into Labor Day weekend with our ears ringing

Twenty years of buildup and hundreds of truckloads of sediment later.

This week we completed the cleanout of a retention pond right here in our hometown of Shawnee, Kansas, removing two decades of accumulated sediment and some of the nastiest stuff I’ve we’ve encountered.

The Volvo Construction Equipment 230 executed throughout the project, keeping trucks moving and the job running smooth.

Shawnee is home for Hagerty & Mack. It’s where we started, where much of our crew grew up, and it’s always rewarding to put our equipment to work in our own community.

Now this pond has a fresh start!

After wayyyyy too long in the body shop it’s back like it was never damaged. Plus a few small changes!
