So I have something on my mind. Why do people not care about their homes and their property these days. As I was growing up, it was an American dream to own your own home. But it seems today ppl dont really care about their homes. They just live in them. Your home IS your biggest investment in life. So why would you not take care of it.
We live in a time where ppl only care about themselves and honestly social media. No one takes pride in their homes or property like my generation or generations before.
With that being said why hire someone bc of their price instead of their experience. There are to many ppl on facebook groups advertising they are plumbers, electrician or hvac. There are even ppl that always want to chime in on something when they have no earth idea of what they are taking about.
Ppl.... wake up..... if someone or company chimes in on your post about needing a skill tradesman like plumbers, electrician or hvac. Go to ga sos licensee search. Scroll down to trade ( such as master & journeyman plumber ) scroll to first name and put there name in. Scroll to last name and put it in. If it doesnt show their name and license they hold. They are not licensed in the state of ga. Or if it looks like a company. Go to ga sos business search. Put in the company and see if it pulls up anything. If so make sure they are compliant or they have dissolved the business. This means they do not have the proper licensing to operate a business in ga.
Im telling you this bc the state is not playing anymore. If you find someone or company report them to the state. There is a website for complaint for unlicensed contractors. There is to many ppl being taking advantage of and these ppl get away with it. Please share this with all your friends. This is information that all homeowners need to know to SAFEGUARD you property/investment....

Customer called and asked why would these threads pull out of a brand new well pump. And why the pipe feeding house swelled up. After checking the old well he had 6 ft of water. He original started with 15 ft. Then he tells me the other well at one point pumped water to this well and the well pump feed the house.
Since the 2nd pump was missing. The well in question is not filling up. As I told him he ran well dry. Jet pump overheated and caused the threads to melt and pipe pulled out. Then it caused the line to the house to swell bc it was still under pressure. I explained he need a well company to come out and check both wells.

Honoring the Legacy of May 29: Remembering the Hapeville Tragedy
Today, May 29, we pause to remember a solemn milestone, the anniversary of the Hapeville Day Nursery tragedy. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of damage prevention and the critical role it plays in protecting lives and communities.

On May 29, 1968, a natural gas explosion at the Hapeville Day Nursery in Hapeville, Georgia, claimed the lives of nine individuals, seven children and two adults, and left others seriously injured. The explosion occurred when a bulldozer struck an underground gas main during nearby construction, allowing gas to migrate into the building where it ignited.

In the years since, it has helped drive increased awareness of underground utility safety and led to advancements such as excess flow valves, devices designed to automatically shut off gas flow when a line is damaged.
