This is my formal apology to Indiana Technical Service for the phone call I made yesterday where I was not as polite as I could be to the woman who answered the phone. I did not swear at her, but I was not the nicest I could be.

Oh THAT!
I was working on a condensing unit that Indiana Technical Service installed and it gave "initial" indications that it was low on charge.
I was not able to add anything to it because the individuals who installed it did not mark which of the four refrigerants it was compatible with indicated.
WHICH IS A REQUIREMENT UNDER THE LAW!
As it turns out, It was not low on charge, but the cavity the condensing unit was in had air flow issues and the ambient temperature was about 120 degrees F.
The owner and I set up a few small fans for air rotation to let the condensing unit cool down on its own and I have been asked to supply an exhaust fan to keep the temperature in normal operating ranges.
As to the refrigerant type, It was 404a, I marked that on the wall next to the unit and dated it so whoever comes after me will know what refrigerant is used and when the note was left. Not important since I did not need to use any, so to Indiana Technical Service:
