A little glimpse into a day in the canopy 🌳

Part of David’s day meant trolleying off a bluff to reach this red oak and perform coronet cuts, a technique used to mimic natural breaks in the tree while creating valuable habitat features for insects, birds, and other wildlife.

Add in the heat, the height, and the classic “should’ve drank more water” hand cramps… if you know, you know and that’s just another day working in the trees 😅
