Last week, we had the privilege of participating in CareerQuest 2026, giving all sophomore and junior students in Sevier County an opportunity in career exploration!

"Next Man Up" isn't just a motto for our Team, it's our culture! We believe in investing in the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers. This event was a great opportunity to meet students interested in the trades and share what a future in construction looks like!

Delivering a medical facility requires a high level of coordination, attention to detail and precision! From medical gas systems to compressed air installations, there is a lot happening behind these walls to ensure this facility can run safely and efficiently each day. This state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lenoir City features two full surgery suites along with a multi-patient recovery room. We are proud of our team for the work put into this project!

We’re excited to welcome Tanner Meachen to the Horner Building Company team as our newest Assistant Project Manager!

Tanner recently graduated from University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Construction Science & Management. During his time there, he also served as the Vols' Football Equipment Manager while continuing to build valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry.

A proud East Tennessee native from Polk County, Tanner brings four years of prior construction experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors with his fiancée.

We’re proud to have Tanner on the HBC team and look forward to all he will accomplish with us. Welcome aboard, Tanner!
