⚠️ This electrical panel caught fire before its scheduled replacement.

When we first inspected it, we found discoloration on the main lugs and wiring, clear signs that a loose connection at the main breaker had been overheating.

We recommended replacing the panel immediately.

The homeowner decided to wait about a month before moving forward. Unfortunately, before the scheduled replacement date arrived, the failing connection caused the panel to catch fire.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Electrical issues don't always look dangerous, and they don't always give you a second warning.
