Both the scoop handles and the cutting board are moving along nicely. The scoops need a second coat of finish and final assemble. The cutting board needs a two glue ups, sanding, and finish.

This end table has reached the end of it's build! It started life as two slabs of Empress wood, a very light material. Eventhough this table looks heavy, it can be lifted with one hand! The trays on the top shelf are made of the same material. This table is also built with repair and longevity in mind. It can be completely disassembled and any piece can be replaced for a fraction of the cost of a new table!

This shoe rack is made of a set of pine benches from 1982. They were originally a set of Sears benches painted black. After removing the paint and sanding the material, I stained and finished the benches. I also cut certain sections off of the benches to better accommodate their new purpose.
