These adorable little ducks are the smallest domestic duck breed, but they make up for it with charm, curiosity, and plenty of entertainment around the homestead 🌾

The baking soda bath is the secret to that classic pretzel flavor and chewy texture, and once you learn the process, you'll never look at store-bought pretzels the same way again 👀

Bonus points if you serve them warm with cheese dip, mustard, or a little melted butter 😍

🐰🌾 Rabbits are one of those homestead animals that seem simple at first... until you realize how much there is to learn!

A healthy rabbit diet is actually pretty straightforward:

🌾 Unlimited hay 🥬 Fresh greens daily 💧 Clean water 🥣 Quality pellets in moderation

The biggest mistake many new rabbit owners make? Too many treats and not enough hay. Hay should make up the majority of a rabbit's diet and helps keep both their digestion and constantly growing teeth healthy.

Whether you're raising rabbits for pets, show, meat production, or simply because they're adorable, good nutrition is one of the best things you can do for them. 🤎

We currently raise rabbits here at The Badger's Burrow Homestead, and they're some of my favorite animals on the property.

Each berry has its own strengths:
🍓 Strawberries = beginner friendly
🫐 Blueberries = long-term producers
❤️ Raspberries = huge harvest potential
🖤 Blackberries = tough & productive
There’s honestly nothing better than walking outside and grabbing fresh berries straight from the garden 🤎
