Tomorrow, Ben will have the honor of serving as a pallbearer for a man who had such a tremendous impact on his life and our family.

When Ben was just 15, Clifton Micheli took a chance on him and hired him at Micheli Plumbing and Heating. That first summer, Ben did whatever needed to be done. The following year, he began learning the air conditioning business alongside Clifton.

When it came to mechanical air conditioning, Clifton was always the smartest man in the room. Always. But what made him special was his willingness to share that knowledge.

I wonder if Clifton ever realized how much that one decision would impact our lives. He helped shape Ben’s career, our family’s future, and the business we have today. His example of hard work and integrity continues to influence how we serve our community.

It’s almost the end of February and in Texas that means one thing.

We’re easing out of heating season and rolling straight into allergy season.

The sneezes are real at our house this week.
