Pray has been building excellence by specializing in professional, hands-on, general contracting services, regionally and nationally. Pray, continues the family tradition of building excellence started by his father. Pray currently employs over 80 industry professionals and craftspeople. Pray is a single-source contractor providing a wide range of services that include preconstruction, constructio

n management and general contracting. Our portfolio includes ground up, new construction, renovation of retail projects, including roll-outs, tenant fit-outs, commercial/industrial facilities as well as educational, public, and occupied renovations executed through our five offices. Our emphasis is on the client and their specific needs. During the preconstruction, planning phase, and/or the construction process itself, the activities and objectives of the project team are designed to create value for the client while achieving the maximum scheduling and budgetary outcomes. Pray is proud to have a large number of repeat clients; over 91% of our work comes from past or repeat corporate clients. This is an important measure of success for D.F. Pray and a marketing strategy we intend to continue to pursue, through our own due diligence and unyielding search for excellence. Main Office & Corporate

Congratulations 👏👏 to Tess Webb-Johnson another remarkable recipient of the Pray Family Foundation scholarship for clinical observership in Vascular Surgery with Dr. Allen Hamdan at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

Tess is a second-year medical student at the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and was awarded a Pray Family Scholarship for Clinical Observership in Vascular Surgery. As part of the scholarship, she completed a two-week clinical rotation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Allen Hamdan, Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery.

Reflecting on her experience, Tess shared:

"I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Hamdan and his entire team for their generosity with both their time and expertise throughout this shadowing experience. I had the opportunity to observe multiple vascular, cardiac, kidney, and liver surgeries, as well as spend time in the clinic, which greatly strengthened my knowledge and appreciation of anatomy, surgery, the operating room, and patient care. This was an invaluable experience, and I am sincerely thankful to the Pray Family for the opportunity to learn from such an exceptional team."

We are so proud of you Tess - well done!

👥Kathryn Pray, along with Project Manager Tom Benton, Superintendent Steve Brodd, and Assistant Project Manager Jeanine Fournier, recently welcomed students from Roger Williams University for an exclusive tour of one of D.F. Pray’s latest adaptive reuse projects.

🏢 Spotlight: Hebronville Village/Gardner Terrace II 🏢
Situated in Attleboro, MA, this project is part of an adaptive reuse of a historic structure into viable affordable housing by POAH (Preservation of Affordable Housing). This nonprofit is all about creating sustainable, affordable homes that support economic security and accessibility for everyone.

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 The students, part of the Cummings Institute Real Estate Program, are diving into a rich curriculum that covers everything from architecture, preservation, construction management to public administration. Their visit was a fantastic opportunity to see real-world applications of their studies in action! 📚
