Quality over Quantity

Sullivan Builders got started in June 2000 when Ben and I first got married. Ben had previous experience in nearly all phases of residential new construction, remodeling and extensive work in restoring historical homes. I had worked in the hospitality and financial industries as well as construction.

We decided that from the beginning we would focus on quality rather than quantity. We were aware that a chief drawback of building in Pettis County is there are no building codes and therefore no enforcement of even minimal standards. Some builders may choose to build to a code (such as the international code) as a matter of principle, but other could take short cuts to save money and the buyer or homeowner would not know until there was a problem. By then the builder or contractor would be long gone. We chose to build to code as a matter of principle and to do finest work possible for our customers.

Over the years we have put together a small, stable crew of workers who take pride in their work and are always ready to improve on their skills. We emphasize the importance of being friendly and polite to our customers as well as maintaining a standard of neat and honest work habits. We strive to leave each worksite clean and all our customers happy.

We are not the biggest company around, but we believe we are among the best to be found in West Central Missouri.
