Staircase carpentry is fascinating to see in action, requiring strict code compliance, advanced geometry, and meticulous woodworking.

Our skilled crew recently had the unique opportunity to setup a temporary structure behind a tree in order to access elevated areas of this multi level home. Ingenuity and security were employed to construct this apparatus and we value our team's attention to detail on this project.

Challenges may arise when walls are opened during the demolition phase of a remodel and this can be a critical moment where creative problem solving comes into play.

When we deconstructed the back wall of this shower and exposed the framing, we realized that we could lower the shelf height to make it more accessible for storage, and allow for increased elbow room.

Small, impactful changes like this can transform a homeowner's shower experience from a cramped, dark, vestibule to a bright, accessible, sanctuary, without breaking the bank. Swipe for before/after ➡️

This sizeable home addition in Woodinville called for an interior sprinkler system to be installed, in order to meet residential building code requirements 💧

Our trusted squad got to work prepping the box beams and setting up site protection over the floors, cabinetry, and stored furniture to allow for the new fire suppression system installation.

Included in the plans for this large home add-on in Woodinville, was a new garage with an office, bathroom, and bonus space above. A lot of work and precise measurements go into the preparations for a foundation pour and we are fortunate to have a strong team focused on accuracy.

Waterfall Edge 🆚 Finished End Panel

The Chapman team is happy to coordinate either install - it really comes down to your personal style and budget.

Waterfall Edge Pros & Cons:
Continuing the solid surface material down the side of a cabinet creates a sleek, bold, architectural look that is easier to clean. However, this design feature requires purchasing additional slab material and tends to be more expensive.

Finished End Panel Pros & Cons:
Designing an end cap that matches the rest of the cabinetry produces a more traditional, furniture-like appearance. Though it can be harder to clean, this application trends on the budget friendly side of remodels.
