Sunshine, burgers, co****le, and great company. Sounds like a successful Ashworth Summer Picnic!

Don took on grillmaster duties (thank you, Don!) and kept the food coming while team members and families enjoyed a relaxing afternoon by the lake. Once dinner wrapped up, it was time for a co****le tournament, where the winning team earned a cash prize.

It was also wonderful to have David and Cindy back with us for the celebration.

We're grateful for opportunities like this to enjoy time together outside of work and celebrate the people who make Ashworth such a great team.

Traditionally, a DADU (Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit) is a cozy cottage built alongside an existing home, creating space for guests, family, rental income, a home office, or a creative studio.

But every now and then, we flip the script.

In this project, the brand-new construction is the larger home, while the charming remodeled house next door (the brown home on the left) becomes the smaller companion residence. Together, they're technically part of the same condo development, but each home has its own unique character and charm.

We love finding creative ways to make the most of a property while preserving the personality that makes a place feel like home.

Ashworth Homes has built more than 100 DADUs throughout Seattle and surrounding communities, and we're excited to see more cities embracing them as part of the housing solution.
