Washington Alarm was grateful to attend Seattle's Union Gospel Mission's Catalyst 2026 event, an evening of generosity, hope, and community impact.

Founded in 1932 during the Great Depression, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission has spent generations walking alongside our neighbors in need, offering meals, shelter, recovery programs, and resources that truly help transform lives.

We are grateful for the hope, support, and lasting impact Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission continues to bring to our neighbors throughout our local community. This fundraiser helps support the important programs they provide each and every day, transforming lives here in Seattle while also helping shape better ways to serve neighbors in need across the country.

Together, the local community raised $1.5 million to help continue this important work!

This week’s Takeout Tuesday goes to Asado Cucina Argentina in Tacoma! The food at Asado was excellent, and the atmosphere was neat.

We ordered the Chicken Milanese, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cheesy. The noodles were rich and buttery, making a great pairing with the chicken. The braised lamb was also a standout, tender and full of flavor. Overall, a great dining experience and we would definitely come back!
