Saturday is National Hug a Kevin Day! Fortunately, Amento Group has a Kevin. Unfortunately, our Kevin is not particularly interested in being hugged. So, several years ago, we did what any reasonable company would do: we created a life-size cardboard replacement.
Today, Cardboard Kevin came out of retirement so our team could properly celebrate. He received an alarming number of hugs, posed for photos with coworkers, respected absolutely no personal-space boundaries…and never once filed an HR complaint. Meanwhile, Real Kevin remained safely nearby, smiling and—most importantly—UNTOUCHED. Happy National Hug a Kevin Day from Amento Group! Please hug responsibly. Know your Kevin.

We understood the assignment. 🟥⬛ Happy Plaidurday from the Amento Group team! Today we traded our usual office attire for checks, tartans, flannels and enough plaid to make a lumberjack proud. It may not be one of our official areas of expertise, but judging by this photo, we’re pretty darn good at it.

Today we’re celebrating Ross Bernard, P.E.'s 2nd Anniversary with Amento Group! Ross brings impressive expertise to our engineering team as a Professional Engineer, supporting our structural work with thoughtful analysis and design. Over the past two years, he has contributed his knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to helping our team deliver great work for our clients. When he’s not solving engineering challenges, Ross enjoys baking, kayaking around Seattle, reading, and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings, Seattle Kraken, and Seattle Thunderbirds. We’re grateful to have Ross as part of the AG team and look forward to many more years ahead!

For three decades we’ve been helping clients solve complex building challenges, and this new space gives our team room to continue growing and collaborating for the next 30 years. Today we celebrate Ethan Carlisle's 5th Anniversary at Amento Group! Ethan joined our team shortly after moving to the Pacific Northwest after attending Louisiana Tech University, and we’ve been lucky to have him ever since. He’s the definition of dependable—quiet, kind, and always willing to help wherever needed. From drawing sets and specs to rope access and site visits, Ethan does it all with a calm professionalism that makes him an invaluable part of our team. Congratulations on 5 years, Ethan—we’re so glad you’re here!
