Proof that a laundry room doesn't have to be an afterthought. 👏

What was once a simple utility room is now one of the hardest-working spaces in the home. Navy Canyon Creek Cabinet Company cabinetry, quartz countertops, an undermount sink, a hanging station, and a timeless Ann Sacks Seattle backsplash transformed this room into a space that's both organized and beautiful.

Would doing laundry be a little more enjoyable in a room like this? We think so. 😉

At first glance, it might look like this kitchen lost a window...but it actually gained so much more.

By closing off the large window, we created space for a hidden pantry, a full-height refrigerator, and a built-in bar—adding storage where it mattered most. To keep the kitchen feeling bright, we incorporated counter-height windows beneath the upper cabinets, allowing natural light to filter in without sacrificing valuable wall space.

The biggest transformation isn't even visible in this before-and-after angle: removing the walls around the basement stairs opened the kitchen to the rest of the home, where a large sliding glass door floods the space with natural light.

Sometimes the best remodeling decisions aren't about adding more windows—they're about making the light you have work better.

Sometimes the biggest transformations come from the smallest additions.

Swipe through to see the before and after photos from this dormer addition project we recently completed in Loyal Heights. It's amazing how one thoughtful addition can completely change the way a home feels and functions.

The new square footage made space to turn the primary bedroom into a proper primary suite, with walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom, and built-in cabinetry where the closet previously lived. The new roofline also allowed for a complete remodel of the bathroom the entire family used to share.
