The Giant Himalayan Lily (Cardiocrinum giganteum) is blooming and filling the entire back garden with it’s intoxicating scent. Only about 5’ tall this time around. When it bloomed a few years ago it was 9’ tall. The Black-Capped Chickadee family in the birdhouse have been highly active today getting ready for the babies to leave the nest. They are sticking their heads and half their bodies out the door. They may depart tomorrow.
