Appreciating the beauty of Seattle even more today. How lucky are we to live in such an incredible place? And extra lucky that Mother Nature seems to have given us so much warm Spring sun!

Like so many of you, Strouse Davis Architecture has been the past month, and continues to do so. We have all created home offices and are meeting with clients via and through email. Projects are still progressing while the world feels like it’s standing still.

But we are also doing our best to find the while we are home. and her husband Joel are building a boat! (And she is documenting it all on her stories if you want to see it come together). and are spending quality time with their kids (and homeschooling) and completing projects around their home, especially in the basement. And Bill, in true Bill fashion, is “contemplating the universe” while soaking in the sun.

We hope you are all finding ways to appreciate this time and just wanted to send some love from our work family to yours.

Happy Birthday to the amazing ! We are such a lucky group to get to spend our days working with her, and thrilled to have celebrated her birthday this year eating southern fried chicken and treating her to her favorite coffee stout! 💕

Situated on a bluff overlooking the Possession Sound in Everett, Washington this residence was a joy to design, taking architectural cues from the sweeping view and northwest contemporary aesthetic while maintaining a modest neighborhood presence.

Today was so much fun! I was so proud to represent my city & give the Evening Magazine crew a tour of Renton to for their "Neighbor In the Know" segment. We went to Gene Coulon Park, The Whistle Stop Ale House & Four Generals Brewing. My message was that Renton is a city of 100,000+ but it feels much more like a small town. Business owners are personable and support each other and our community. Jeff & Melinda Lawrence, owners of the Whistle Stop Ale House, along with Ross, Mike & Mary Hudspeth, owners of Four Generals Brewing, could not have been more welcoming today and reiterated my message with their friendly & generous additions to the segment. I had so much more to say than I was given time for, but I am excited to see the finished product! Shout out to my 5 & 8 year old glam squad helping me get ready this morning. It will be airing sometime in November!
